How to Score and Cut svg in Design Space

When opening an SVG file in Cricut Design Space, every line will automatically import as a cut file. this tutorial will show you the easy and fast way that will help you convert the cut lines to score lines in just a few steps.

Step 1 ~ Upload the SVG file to Cricut Design Space

After uploading the "SVG" file in design space, by default, all design will open as group files, "right click" on the design and select "UnGroup" from the pop-up menu.

Step 2 -  Select and Change Line Type

Select the file that needs to be changed to score line ( red color line ), you can now click on the Operation tab on the top toolbar ( left ), select "Score" from the pop-up menu.

Step 3 - Attach the File

Last, select all files and click "Attach" on the lower right corner.  

You have now successfully changed cut line into a score line, and your project is ready to make, click the "Make it" green button on the upper right corner and you're good to go. (please make sure you have your scoring tool attached in your Cricut machine)
